BB adventure camp 07 (15-18 June)
Day 1
administration start at 7.30am..the boys came quite early..after that we start to have our adventure badge lesson..taught them how to choose campsite etc..10 plus started raining heavily..suppose to build tents at the fitness corner behind the school..but cos of rain we build it at the concourse area..lunch time..yum yum..the boys was given a packet of instant noodle and they are suppose to use tommy cooker to cook their noodles and canned food..only one hour for them to cook..haha..so make it simple..after lunch was another hour of lesson..went in to stage 3 classroom..they started to ask me 1st aid qns..what is R.I.C.E?how many wounds are there?how many types of bleeding there is?and what is ABC? revise with them some..of cos after lunch abit sleepy..hopefully it will get into their brain..haha..after lesson was athletic badge..they went to the running track behind the school canal..ben came over..the boys were running for their badge..most of them failed..send darryl home cos he having a very high fever..38.4 degree..after that was dinner..fresh food cooking..once in a yr..saw the boys cook..worried if they have enough to eat..as expected..the seniors didnt get to eat much..they keep feeding the juniors.. mitchell cried..he having home sick..one bad point that i have is very easy soft hearted..i let him called back home..after that he felt better n went to sleep..tml long day ahead...
Day 2
started the day at 6am..the boys are late for roll call..still got some cant wake up..as usual..they didnt sleep last night..ben today will report for his NS..haiz..cant send him..Quiet time in the morning..royce n darryl report sick..i told them i'll report to Mr Tay..n after that Mr Tay ask me to tell the boys to go report to him..after awhile..they are alright..no sick..no pain..i end it fast..after that i went to bishan park..dunno which park..1 or 2..haha..sit down there act as a check point..gerard came over n joined me for awhile..we made fun of the boys..made them doubt..they ask if i am the checkpoint master..then i said no..haha..told them i am just a medic..sitting ard making sure they are well..n they really believe..haha..after that..i went back to school waiting for time to pass..my next check point time is at 2pm..for the stage 3..n guess where is it?NYP..ar..go back to my own sch..started to rain..but no choice..the boys still must continue their hike..some of them are looking abit pale..haiz..dinner was gd..didnt eat much..cos most of the committee are busy with the boys and the officers n i went for meet the parent session..was so nervous..had a talk with mitchell's parent..after talking to them..i learnt more about mitchell's situation n know y his homesick is so bad..they are really a close knitted family i should say..
Day 3
nothing much to do today..the boys went for their service at the primary school hall..after that they prepare their night performance..after lunch..some of the boys went out for their retest..while those who passed stay back n wash tents..after washing tents..time for dinner..so yuck..jason keep playing with the chicken head..it's so gross..the boys had lots of fun..since is the last night..talent time was fun..they keep making us laugh..glad that mitchell did a great job..thanks Shi Jie..for helping me out to handle this..we prepared anything and whatever for the boys..haha..but that is a surprise..send noel home..he having a fever which never go down..after sending noel home..i saw Ansel sitting in the canteen.after awhile..i heard from gerard he is the missing boy the boys will suppose to look for later..we hide him..1.25am..Operation AW started..we woke Joshua up..n tell him he only have 5 min to ask all the boys fall in..hehe..so evil..but what happened is Joshua went to wake 1 by 1..ar..in the end they took 20 min to fall in..if is a fire drill..roast pig..haha..sec 3 called Medic (which is me!)..cos Jun Zhang strain his neck muscle while falling in..how?i dunno..haha..he cant see straight..must apply deep heat n massage for him..after a long time..finally he is able to look straight n drink his Anything..haha..
Day 4
today is dismissal..nothing much to do..they did area cleaning..hope the boys learn something thru this camp..
